Wellness Advisory Council

The Wellness Advisory Council is a new WELL Office initiative which consists of student representatives from the health professional programs: SCSD, ISoN & SPOT at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This council is an inter-professional forum in which students meet and discuss wellness and healthy learning needs and initiatives in all these respective programs and disciplines within the Faculty of Medicine.

In this role you will be responsible for bringing to the table as best you can the thoughts and needs expressed by your cohort. It will require a commitment of attending two annual meetings, which will occur at the WELL Office once in the Fall and once in the Spring. These dates will be sent in advance and if you are unable to join you will need to find a replacement for your spot for that day.

We look forward to working together for a healthy learning environment and to assist learners in reaching your academic, personal, and professional goals.

If you are interested in this Council, please send a short statement with the reason of your interest to: thewelloffice@mcgill.ca by October 31st, 2018 along with your answer to the following two questions:

  1. What would you bring to an Interprofessional Healthy Learning Council?
  2. Please tell us of an experience you had when you contributed to a Healthy Learning Environment?
